Foursquare is a location-based social networking website, software for mobile devices, and also a game. Users "check-in" at venues using a mobile website, text messaging or a device-specific application. They are then awarded points and sometimes "badges." The service was created by Dennis Crowley and Naveen Selvadurai; Crowley had previously founded the similar project Dodgeball, which Google bought in 2005 and shut down in 2009. As it closes in on 1 million users in April 2010, Foursquare is being pursued by Internet giant Yahoo! Inc., which has offered as much as $125 million for Foursquare.

4SQ有各个手机的客户端,配合GPS或者基站定位进行定位(Check-In).当然是自己决定要不要Check-In.

在一个地方多次Check就能拿下领主地位.像我,很猥琐地拿下了浙江传媒学院.哈哈哈.

不要被别人抢走了.嘿嘿.

Check的结果能推送到Twitter和Facebook,这个极大地方便了联络,当然,也方便了跨省.XDD.所以,要小心.
